Total Quality Management

Custom Group has been continuously certified for over 10 years to ISO 9001 for manufacturing operations.

This requires a thorough system of process control and documentation to ensure all products manufactured at our plant are made to specification, and to a high degree of reproducibility. Control of inputs including selection of materials, purchasing procedures and supplier selection are also audited to ensure all determinants of final product quality are accounted for.

Custom Group employ a full system of monitoring, reporting and control using dedicated staff and specific software.

All incidents, near misses, non conformances and tolerance drifts are captured and reviewed to assess likely causes. This is followed up by the implementation of remedial action for the reported case, and preventative solutions for the future.

As part of the ongoing quality management feedback loop, ongoing inspection of product both during the various phases of manufacture and at the final output stage are inspected by qualified employees with either a degree in engineering, or at least 10 years continuous experience at our plant.
