Safer Syringe BinsCustom Group were commissioned to design and build safe syringe bins for NSW hospitals, to help with the the implementation of a statewide syringe exchange programme. Various sizes of bins were designed Inhouse for the client. A key design innovation of the bins prevents anyone from reaching into the receptacle to withdraw used syringes.
Keeping Your Mail SecureCustom Group were approached by Australia Post to help prevent identity thieves breaking into public post boxes. The problem was solved with a Custom Group designed 5 point locking system incorporating a 3 point hinge system. To date, no one has ever broken through. As an added bonus, the 6 stage zinc phosphate pretreated powder coating process continues to protect the boxes from the slower but surer attacks from the harsh Australian environment. Space Commander - A New Australian Product Designed and built at Custom Group, this successful Australian innovation solves the problem of never enough garage space by creating a mezzanine storage area above the bonnet of a car. Features a convenient clip together paneling system as well as adjustable shelving.
