Stud & Spot Welding

Custom Group have on the ready 6 Spot welding stations from 10-150 kVA with throat depths up to 1 metre. 

Can spot weld 5 mm stainless steel, and up to 8 mm mild steel.

We use portable capacitor discharge stud welding machines capable of working with 8 mm studs.

Also available are 2 hydraulic inserting presses able to insert up to 12 mm studs.

Capacitor stud welders provide a perfect bond with no reverse side marking. Stud welding reduces labour and material compared to drilling, tapping, piercing and adhesives.
