MIG & TIG WeldingCustom Group employ 22 full time welders including 12 First Class tradesmen in dedicated welding cells. MIG Welding Robots We have 4 dedicated small cell ABB MIG welding robots on rotating turntables. The dedicated cell allows continuous welding operation. An operator jigs and tack welds components on one hemisphere while the robot welds behind a curtain on the opposite turntable hemisphere. TIG Plasma WeldingCustom Group deploy one of only 2 TIG Plasma welding robots in New South Wales, able to handle sheets up to 3.5 m x 1.2 m. TIG Plasma welding is an advance form of TIG welding. Its greater energy concentration allows deep narrow penetration with reduced distortion. Higher levels of operator skill are required.
TIG Seam Welder Amada TIG Seam Welder with a 700mm working range. TIG welding is used when flawless welds are needed, and where longer production times are permissible.
