The heart of our business lies in our $1.7 million dollar investment in our FINN-POWER Automated Punching & Shearing Cell.
CBSM is a full service shop with all the equipment necessary to produce high quality sheet metal components and enclosures.
This machine is considered "State of the Art" in the field of Turret Punch Press's due to the fully integrated operation of a 90 degree Shear, which is capable of parting off individual components of any size up to the max sheet size of 1500 x 3000.
Automation has been our long term focus, to this end we have equipped our machine with a FINN POWER 12 pallet CS Storage Tower which is capable of managing 36 tones of sheet material.The drawing office at CBSM consists of 4 full function CAD-CAM stations with 3D modelling and "manufacturability" assistance available to all our clients. The outdated approach of shearing metal sheets to a specific size for loading singularly into a punching or cutting machine is eliminated at CBSM where a multitude of different parts, sorted by material types and are then nested into standard sheet sizes on our"Jet cam" system. Material yields are typically better than 88%.
