CBSM which is privately owned family company, commenced trading in 1970 and currently employs 50 persons over two shifts per day at our 30,000 sq ft premises at Milperra. Our expertise, traditionally has been in the manufacture  of specialist enclosures for electrical related industries, however with investments in new technology, our horizons have broadened to include manufacture of componentry from both ferrous and non ferrous materials for virtually all spheres of industry.We have searched extensively to source the most Technologically Advanced machinery with all major machine tools being purchased new since 1997 including our 1999 model Finnpower Shear Genius SG6 with genuine "Lights Out" capability. Our System Production Management is facilitated by our "Manusoft' MRP system which tracks real time production using touch screens throughout our factory. All jobs are scheduled through the various work centres based on the required completion date and the time allocated for each process. The computer generated job ticket details all specific work instructions and forms the documentation to meet te requirements of Quality Assurance accreditation. The drawing office at CBSM consistsof 4 full function CAD-CAM stations with 3D modelling and "manufacturability" assistance avaiable to all our clients. The outdated approach of shearing metal sheets to a specific size for loading singularly into a punching or cutting machine is eliminated at CBSM where a multitude of different parts, sorted by material types and are then nested into standard sheet sizes on our "Jet cam" system. Material yeilds are typically better than 80%. Close tolerence bending is achieved by our CNC Press Brake department, where all machine programs are stored on our central computer network for instant recall thus minimising set up times. Our fabrication team are "Craftsmen" some with over 25 ears service with CBSM, who take pride in their work.
